Is there any way to get CIM to send out the fully qualified domain name when sending the \lost email\" notification? I'm working with users across several subdomains and they need to know which subdomain contains the CIM server.
For example, the email says something like:
You requested to have your password reset. Use the link below to reset
your password. The link will remain valid for 10 minutes.
Unfortunately in 5.5 the code automatically makes determination what the hostname of CIM machine is (via Java's InetAddress.getLocalHost().getCanonicalHostName()). It's the equivalent of what you would get if you type 'hostname -f' at the prompt (on Linux).
In 6.0 (coming soon) you will be able to add a 'cim.rootcontext' property in cim.properties file and that will be used in all e-mail notifications.
